Last Blog

Today is my last day at Ticket King so I'm a little sad. I wrote articles for the College, Timberwolves, and Twins blog. I wrote an article about Boise State possible joining the Mountain West Conference for the college blog, Game 1 of the NBA Finals for the Timberwolves blog, and the promotion of Danny Valencia for the Twins blog. I also finished up the Twins roster and am really pumped up about that since I didn't think I would be able to finish it. I also added to my links the Ticket King St. Paul website and if you click on Timberwolves, Vikings, and Twins links, I wrote all of the content for the games that you can click on. Today Beth is choosing lunch for free lunch friday and I think we are getting burgers or something. I can finally say that I am used to this keyboard, too bad its my last day. I went to get the mail today also and I will be interviewing Kristy later this afternoon about her job. I want to thank everyone at Ticket King for letting me work here this month and its been a pleasure working with Cortney, Beth, and Kristy. I'll miss you guys and am excited to see your float at Grand Old Days. Once again, thanks for everything. Peace.

Day 17

Only one more day at Ticket King and I'm a little sad. Today was still fun nonetheless as I wrote articles for the Packer, Big 12, Pac 10, and Gopher blogs. I wrote about the Packers first round pick, Bryan Bulaga, Sam Maresh transferring, a USC linebacker transferring, and a wide receiver from Nebraska that got into a fair amount of trouble. I spent the rest of the day writing about the views from the different sections at Target Field and I tried to finish all of the player profiles for each of the Twins players. I'm almost done with the ones that I think will be with the Twins beyond this season. That's all for today.

Day 16

Today I had to get up really early to go to the awards ceremony at school. It was really boring to say the least. I dropped Danny off at his internship and then came here to write about the Celtics-Lakers series for the Timberwolves blog, Blackburn's rough outing for the Twins blog, and about the NCAA Baseball Tournament for the college blog. I spent the rest of the day writing player profiles for each Twins player and hope to finish that by the end of the week. We're doing a home run derby at baseball so that should be fun, but that's all for today.

Day 15

Day 15 has been fantastic thus far. I wrote blogs for the Gophers, Packers, Pac 10, and Big 12. I wrote about Anthony Toribio for the Packer site, USC violations, Kansas University football ticket scandal, and the Gopher baseball team's seeding for the NCAA baseball tournament. I will begin writing about the Twins players and writing 2-3 paragraphs bios on each player this afternoon. This weekend was a lot of fun. The Spalters are lots of fun and we had a lot of fun with them. We went to a Twins game, Valley Fair, and spent a lot of time with them at our house. Later today I have baseball and then I'm going to go home and sleep!

Day 14

Day 14 was spectacular. I wrote blogs for the timberwolves, twins, and college blogs. I wrote about the eastern and western conference finals for the t wolves blog, the twins series against the Yankees and the duke basketball abeam for next season. I also continued to work on the timberwolves stuff for the st Paul website. I went and got bread and chocolate for the office and I saw Sonja manning there! Then i went to school and got our picture taken for baseball. I'm pumped for the twins game that i'm going to on Saturday. Go twins!

Day 13

Day 13 was pretty fun. I wrote blogs for the packers, pac 10, big 12, and gopher sites. I wrote about Justin Harell for the Packer blog, Milton Knox for the Pac 10, the Craig James case for the Big 12, and Tubby Smith case for the gopher blog. Today was our section game for the playoffs and we lost so our season is officially over. The Phoenix Suns lost to the Lakers on a buzzer beater that was heart breaking for me, but it was a really fun game to watch. We have the Spalters in town from Phoenix so it was fun to watch the game with them and I look forward to a fun weekend with them. I'm also still trying to finish up the timberwolves content for the st paul site.

Day 12

I was a little late this morning because I couldn't find my keys but I'm having a great time today. I wrote about the Phoenix Suns win over the Lakers last night and I wrote about the Twins rain out against the Yankees last night. Last night, the Twins game was awesome. Danny and I got suckered into buying ponchos but it was more fun that way. We got to move up to the first row since everyone left because of the rain and Justin Morneau threw me a ball at the end of the inning. It was awesome. Then I watched the Suns game which was amazing. They are so fun to watch and hope they beat the Lakers but it's going to be tough for them to win a game in Lala land. I have practice today and it's going to be really hot. I still haven't finshed the st paul content for the T wolves so I got to keep working on that. Alright, I'm out.
