Day 14

Day 14 was spectacular. I wrote blogs for the timberwolves, twins, and college blogs. I wrote about the eastern and western conference finals for the t wolves blog, the twins series against the Yankees and the duke basketball abeam for next season. I also continued to work on the timberwolves stuff for the st Paul website. I went and got bread and chocolate for the office and I saw Sonja manning there! Then i went to school and got our picture taken for baseball. I'm pumped for the twins game that i'm going to on Saturday. Go twins!

Day 13

Day 13 was pretty fun. I wrote blogs for the packers, pac 10, big 12, and gopher sites. I wrote about Justin Harell for the Packer blog, Milton Knox for the Pac 10, the Craig James case for the Big 12, and Tubby Smith case for the gopher blog. Today was our section game for the playoffs and we lost so our season is officially over. The Phoenix Suns lost to the Lakers on a buzzer beater that was heart breaking for me, but it was a really fun game to watch. We have the Spalters in town from Phoenix so it was fun to watch the game with them and I look forward to a fun weekend with them. I'm also still trying to finish up the timberwolves content for the st paul site.

Day 12

I was a little late this morning because I couldn't find my keys but I'm having a great time today. I wrote about the Phoenix Suns win over the Lakers last night and I wrote about the Twins rain out against the Yankees last night. Last night, the Twins game was awesome. Danny and I got suckered into buying ponchos but it was more fun that way. We got to move up to the first row since everyone left because of the rain and Justin Morneau threw me a ball at the end of the inning. It was awesome. Then I watched the Suns game which was amazing. They are so fun to watch and hope they beat the Lakers but it's going to be tough for them to win a game in Lala land. I have practice today and it's going to be really hot. I still haven't finshed the st paul content for the T wolves so I got to keep working on that. Alright, I'm out.

Day 11

Day 11 has been fabulous. I wrote articles for the Big 12, Pac 10, Gopher, and Packer blogs. For the Pac 10 and Big 12 blogs, I wrote about the number of players that were picked in the NFL Draft from those conferences and I wrote about the illegal recruitment of Seantrel Henderson for the Gopher blog. For the Packer Blog, I wrote a small player profile on B.J. Raji. Today I'm have lunch at Chris and Rob's with my grandpa Peter and my brother Danny. I'm also going to the Twins game with my uncle John after my baseball practice. Peace!

Day 10

Monday has been pretty good so far. I was really excited last night when the Phoenix Suns beat the Lakers so I'm hoping they keep playing well and make a series of it. Today I wrote an article about the Suns for the Timberwolves Blog and I wrote about the return of JJ Hardy for the Twins Blog. For the college blog, I wrote about the players who are leaving the college basketball for the NBA Draft. I will spend the afternoon finishing writing content for the Timberwolves content section of the Ticket King website.

Day 9

Today I wrote in articles for the Timberwolves, Twins, and College blog. For the Twins I wrote about their series with the Red Sox and their upcoming series with the Brewers, the Eastern and Western Conference Finals, and the upcoming College Baseball games. I will spend the rest of the afternoon writing more about the Timberwolves. Today, Cortney and I will be eating Chris and Rob's for lunch, since I have been playing really well at baseball ever since I started eating it for lunch. I have a game today and this weekend I have a couple of grad parties that I might go to and I am also going to Marley Applebaum's Bat Mitzvah. Good luck Marley and peace out for the weekend

Day 8

This morning I went to school and we had breakfast. It was nice seeing everyone but it was a little weird at the same time. We dedicated the yearbook to Dr. Janice Gepner after at an assembly and that went really well. Then I came to the office and I picked up some french toast sticks from burger king on the way because the breakfast at school wasn't amazing. I then got to work on my Packer, Big 12,Pac 10 and Gopher blogs. Everyone should check all of those out. Then I commented on each blog in the company and that was terrible but I tried to have fun with it. Then I worked on more Timberwolves content for the Ticket King website. I have a baseball game later today. Peace!

Day 7

So the Timberwolves did not end up with the number 1 or 2 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, but life goes on here at Ticket King. Today I blogged about the Twins and Timberwolves. For the Twins, I wrote about how they got shelled by the Blue Jays yesterday and talked about their upcoming series with the Red Sox. For the Timberwolves, I talked about the possibilities that they have with the 4th pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. They are likely targeting Wesley Johnson of Syracuse, who would help the Wolves immediately, but doesn't have the potential of Evan Turner or John Wall. I think they might try to swap with the Sixers in order to get Turner and that would be great. I also went on a small errand for Cortney by dropping off some packages for her at the UPS store. I will continue working n the Timberwolves content later this afternoon. Cortney and I also took pictures for the SPA website today. Here's one of them.

Day 6

Day 6 got off to a rough start when I was unable to get out of bed this morning so I was ten minutes late. I think I really gathered myself and made up for lost time by writing for fantastic articles for the Pac 10, Big 12, Gophers, and Packer blogs. I wrote team previews about the Arizona Wildcats and Oklahoma Sooners football teams. I also wrote a player profile on Packer's wide receiver James Jones. My last article was about how the Gopher's basketball team underachieved last season. I'm really excited for the NBA lottery tonight. I will be going to Champs with Joe Stanoch and Paul Nerland to watch it. The last time we did this, the Timberwolves got the #3 pick in the draft so I'm hoping that it's lucky again this year. Good luck tonight Wolves! Hopefully we get John Wall!

Day 5

Day 5 has been great. I woke up and had a piece of toast that was terrible, but my day has gotten better since then. I wrote an article about Pat Neshek for our Twins blog and I wrote an article about John Wall of the Kentucky Wildcats for the Timberwolves blog. This week I will be focusing on the content pages for the Minnesota Timberwolves for the Ticket King website, which no one is excited about except for me. I love my Timbies. I will also be writing for the College Blog for Ticket King so I will add that link today.

Day 4

Day 4 has been great. I wrote two articles today. One for the Twins blog and the other for the Timberwolves blog. One on Twins-Yankees series preview and a masterpiece on Evan Turner. Today Pat brought in his dog, Joe Mauer, who is the best. After this, I'm going to do some more work for the St. Paul content pages. Last night I was at Buffalo Wlid Wings with some of the guys watching the Celtics and Cavs. I kind of wanted the Cavs to win, I think LeBron deserves a ship. Maybe the Wolves will sign LeBron now! haha yeah right. I'm excited for the weekend. I have a couple of baseball games that should be fun and then not much else on my plate so it will be nice to relax. See you all on Monday.

Day 3

Day 3 was a little quiet at the office. It was just me and Courtney. We had an absolute blast. I worked on the content for the st paul ticket king website and I also wrote blogs for the Gopher, Pac 10, Big 12, and Packer blogs. I wrote about Adam Weber for the Gopher blog, a USC team preview for the Pac 10, new Texas quarterback Garrett Gilbert for the Big 12, and Jerimichael Finley for the Packer blog. I had Chris & Rob's again for lunch. It was fantastic. I also worked an extra hour for the second consecutive day in order to make up for the time lost when I went on a trip to Miami. That's it for today.

Day 2

Day two here at Ticket King is going really well. I started out this morning by writing some content for the Twins pages on ticketkingstpaul.com because it's not that fun so I tried to get it out of the way. Then, Beth, another intern, taught me how to use the Timberwolves and Twins blogs. The Timberwolves blg was originally in a girl's voice, but I switched that by posting something about myself saying that I would be writing for the blog for the next month. For the Timberwolves blog I wrote a post about the NBA Playoffs and one about the Timberwolves draft needs. I think that Evan Turner and John Wall can save the franchise so I will be writing profiles on them later. For the Twins blog, I wrote about Joe Mauer and Nick Blackburn and I have to write it in a girl's voice so don't judge me haha. It's funny writing those though so I'm fine with and am excited to take my girl writing to the next level. I had Chris and Rob's for lunch and it was delicious. Okay I'm off to comment on all of the blogs that have been done and then go to my baseball game. Peace!

First Post!

Hi my name is Joey Goldfarb. I'm a senior at Saint Paul Academy and Summit School and I'm interning at Ticket King for my senior project. Today was my first day at the office and I accidently passed it and it was terrible getting back around to it. I have an awesome, comfortable chair that is much better than the chairs at school. Not going to lie, the bathroom is a little scary. They got me Jimmy Johns for my first day too! Laura, the last intern, showed me how to blog and tweet today. My first blog was about Jordy Nelson and I also wrote about Oregon Duck quarterback situation, Nebraska football, and about Katie Bethke making the U23 national team. Here's a picture of me with my friends Nathan Johnson and Nate Causey along with my twin brother Danny Goldfarb at our first game at Target Field. It's the best place ever!
